Today! We talked about Thomas, one of Jesus' disciples

John 20:19 “On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews,

Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

Disciples were so afraid. There was no peace in them. In their gathering, Jesus appeared. The doors were locked, but he was with them. They were so surprised. While giving peace to the disciples, Jesus showed them the wounds on his hands and his side. Jesus let them touch his body, so that they would know that he was not just a spirit but also had a real human body. They were so happy! Jesus was alive. He had come back from death. They couldn’t explain what had happened or how it happened. That was an amazing meeting. But we have one disciple missing. Who was he?

Thomas...

Thomas was not there.

And do you know what he said? John 20:25

“Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails,

and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

Jesus didn't judge Thomas nor rebuke him, rather, he visited him again and encouraged his faith
