Christ is Risen! 

Christ is Risen, indeed!! 

Today was Children's Day!!! We celebrated our special day together with the word, praise, and activities! 

Our Bible Key Verse was Luke 2:52, it says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

예수는 지혜와 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑스러워 가시더라.

Today, we talked about how Jesus was like when he was young since today was Children's Day :) 

There are not many records about young Jesus.

We know how he was born but we don’t know how he behaved with his family members and his friends.

The Bible didn’t tell us. We have two bible verses that kind of summarized Jesus’ childhood.

The first verse is Luke 2:40, it says, “And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.

And another verse is Luke 2:52, it says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” 

​​​​​In between these two verses, we find an interesting story. Today’s story was a rare account from the childhood of Jesus!!

​​​​​​​Jesus was with God and with his family as well. He grew up as he should for his age.

There is a time for you to be with your parents, a time for you to be supported by your parents,

and a time to live independently with your own abilities.

But one thing that will never change is you’re loved by your parents no matter what.

So, children, be grateful. Be obedient to your parents who love you so much,

for that will increase your wisdom, stature, and favor with both God and man."

Obeying isn’t just because your parents say so- it’s a way of showing your love and respect for them!!
