Today is Early Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday!!!

Ruth 2:12 The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!

룻기 2:12 여호와께서 네가 행한 일에 보답하시기를 원하며 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 그의 날개 아래에 보호를 받으러 온 네게 온전한 상 주시기를 원하노라 하는지라.

Do you know what today is? Today is a very special Sunday! It’s the very first week of July!

Do you know what that means? We have 12 months in a year, and we’ve already lived through half of them!!!

Time flies, doesn’t it?! Do you feel the same way I do? Usually, on the first Sunday of July we celebrate Early Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday.

We give thanks for the early wheat harvest, which usually ends in June. And in the Bible, there’s a family whose story takes place during this harvest season.

Do you know Ruth? She was a woman who wasn’t Jewish, but she’s famous for her faithfulness—and she eventually became the great-grandmother of King David!

That means she was in the family line of Jesus Christ, and her name is even listed in Matthew chapter 1. So let’s meet her together! Shall we?
