Today is the last Sunday of 2025.

Even though our year 2026 has already begun with the start of the season of Advent, since we follow the solar calendar, today is still the last Sunday of 2025.

We are here together to celebrate the days of 2025, giving thanks to the Lord and also to one another.

Today we will celebrate what we have learned so far, and we will also have a graduation ceremony.

We will say goodbye to our 6th graders and welcome our preschoolers as they begin their first year of elementary school.

Are you ready to celebrate this gathering in Christ?

Lord God, we thank you for your grace and mercy.

Thank you for giving us this community to rely on, to trust, and to love in Christ.

God, we lift these children into your almighty hands. As they move up to the next grade, please give them wisdom and understanding—

not only for gaining knowledge, but also for knowing you more deeply.

Go before them, O Lord, and prepare their way with each step. In your Son, Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
