"Hosanna!!!! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! even the King of Israel! "
John 12:13
Today is Palm Sunday

Jesus didn’t choose a horse to ride on—he chose a young donkey.
A horse symbolizes a powerful king, but a donkey symbolizes a humble king.
Jesus didn’t ride a donkey because he was weak or afraid. He did it to show us what he intended.
His action was symbolic.
When the people cried out, ‘Hosanna,’ they were not wrong. They were right.
They needed to be saved from their current situation.
But Jesus saw something else - something greater, something more powerful that was oppressing them.
That was death, caused by sin.

Don’t forget. When Jesus rode on a baby donkey, he even thought about you and me.
With his gentle, silent, and humble actions, he has saved more souls than any king in the world ever could -
because no one else can save us from death.
Our King Jesus will come into our lives and save us from death, the most urgent problem that needs to be solved.
When we’re in his hand that saves us, then, we are forever safe.
