As you walked in, did you notice the four symbols out there?
Whenever you see them, remind yourself of their stories and meanings!
Also, do you guys have your bracelets with you? I know they’re a bit too big to wear around your wrist, so why not attach them to your bag with an O-ring?
And don’t forget the little booklet — keep it handy!
Whenever you get a chance to share the gospel with your friends or family, please use it.
Let’s celebrate who God is and who we are in Christ.

I’m not sure if you guys know this guy? His name is Wally! He is the main character in the book, called “Where’s Wally?”
He loves hiding himself in crowds.
Sometimes it’s easy to find him, but other times it’s really hard to find him, because there are so many people around him.
Shall we try to find him together?

Look at this slide.
As you come to church, you’ve probably heard about God the Father (하나님), God the Son (예수님), and God the Holy Spirit (성령님), right?
When you read the Old Testament, you often see God the Father. And sometimes you see the phrase “the Spirit of God,” which refers to the Holy Spirit.
So you might think that God the Father and God the Holy Spirit appear in the Old Testament.
Then, when you read the New Testament, you see that Jesus was born — just as God had promised in the Old Testament.
So the New Testament is the era of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
After Jesus died, was resurrected, and ascended into heaven, as he promised,
the Holy Spirit came down to the disciples who were gathered together in prayer.
So after Jesus, you might think, “Now it’s the time of the Holy Spirit.”
But does that mean we have three different gods in three different time periods?
Are we serving God the Father in the Old Testament, Jesus in the New Testament, and the Holy Spirit after Jesus? What do you think?

No - we don’t serve three different gods. There is only one God, but he exists as three Persons:
God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
They’re not three separate gods: they’re one.
Each Person has a different role, but they always work together, never apart.

The reason why we did “Finding Wally” together in the beginning is that I believe finding Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the Old Testament
is sometimes much easier! Of course, at other times, it’s hard for us to see the Son of God in the Old Testament.
But as John 1:1–2 says, the Son of God is there - because the Triune God has never been separated from one another!
*
This is the nature of God.Even though we can’t fully understand everything about Him, this is who God is - one God in three Persons:
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We might not be able to explain it perfectly,
but we can believe it because this is how God shows himself in the Bible.
