Let me ask you a question. Whenever you face difficulties,

who do you go to first? Who do you go to when you need help?

Your mom or dad? Your teacher? Your friends? Who do you trust enough to ask for help?

Maybe you look for someone who is strong, smart, spiritual, experienced, or powerful.

Why do you think he or she is the strongest, smartest, most spiritual, most experienced, or most powerful among us?

Do you think you’re missing someone?

Someone who is the strongest, the smartest, the most spiritual, the most experienced, and the most powerful of all?

Who is that? That’s right! Jesus! 

Who do you want to listen to?

Do you think Jesus is the smartest? Why do you think so?

Do you think Jesus is the most experienced? Even outside the church?

Do you think Jesus is the smartest when it comes to school? What about cooking? Sports? Teaching? Medicine?

Is there anything Jesus doesn’t know? Is there anyone who knows more than Jesus?

Isaiah 30:21

"And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,”

when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”

 Every morning, when we wake up, let’s choose to trust God.

When we’re blindfolded, what can we do? We have to trust God, who knows better than anyone else.

He not only knows what is best for us, but he is also our loving Father.

And we are surrounded by so many voices—both good and bad, both helpful and harmful.

Sometimes, it can be really hard to recognize God’s voice, can’t it?

So how can we recognize the voice of our Father God—the loving voice that leads us on the right path?

Jesus says in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” 

How can we recognize God’s voice? By knowing him. His sheep know his voice because they know their Shepherd.

We had visitors today! They're missionaries from Uganda! Please keep them in your prayer!

They will leave for Uganda tonight :)
