The Lord's Prayer 주기도문

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name

Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread 

And forgive us our debt, as we have also forgiven our debtors

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil

For yours is kingdom and power and glory, forever and ever. Amen

Whenever we pray or sing the Lord’s Prayer, we always lift our eyes to God, who faithfully provides us what we need. 

Whenever we pray or sing the Lord’s Prayer, we also reflect on the elements of Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication contained in it.

We call this ACTS. And we can apply this ACTS in our own prayer. 

Begins with adoration: God, you are amazing! You are nice! You are wonderful! You’re Almighty God! What else? 

And then always come to God as you are. You confess your sins honestly: God, forgive me. I have this feeling in my heart. I know it’s not right, and I need your help. 

Thanksgiving: God, thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for helping me. You give thanks to God for all that he has done. 

Supplication: even though he knows the best what we need, God wants to hear your voice. Your supplication prayer will grow and change as you grow in God.

But train yourself (challenge yourself) to ask for God’s kingdom, God’s justice, God’s mercy to come upon you and your surroundings, changing the people around you.
