When we face difficulties, struggles, and conflicts at school or at home with the people around us—whether friends or family—

it is very important to remember God’s promises. It is also important to remember the promises we have made to him.

Even if they seem small, God remembers your promises—not only his promises (of course), but yours as well.

God remembers them all, and he is at work according to them. And through those promises, God shapes and grows you.

Look at Jacob’s life. It was not easy, but in God, he was shaped and became a man of God.

Even through fear, struggle, and uncertainty, God is present, keeps his promises, and uses those seasons to shape us—

so we should trust him and respond in obedience, just like Jacob.
